SWIFT Payment
A SWIFT Payment is an international money transfer conducted through the SWIFT network, which uses unique SWIFT codes to identify banks and ensure secure transactions. For example, if a company in the U.S. needs to pay a supplier in France, their bank might send a SWIFT message with the code BNPAFRPP for BNP Paribas in Paris. The message includes a header with both banks' SWIFT codes, a body detailing the amount and account numbers, and a footer with any additional instructions. This structure ensures the payment is processed quickly and accurately, facilitating global trade and commerce.
